How can you tell that you have the right cartridge for your aqualisa shower?...the shower is a concealed valve and about 15-20yrs old. It's got the grey part on it once I've taken off the controls and shroud. Is there any visible codes, numbers or any markings so you can identify the right 1?
Aqualisa have used a range of different cartridges over the years, and it’s not always obvious, however Aqualisa colour-codes many of their cartridges:
Grey or black cartridges → often for Quartz and Digital ranges.
Brass cartridges → often for Aquastream and older models.
Blue/green plastic cartridges → specific to some mixer valves.
