Description−
Discover innovation and convenience combined with the Hydrolux Shower Tray, featuring an incredibly lightweight design for effortless installation and superior performance. Crafted with precision, these shower trays ensure you can enjoy a safe and comfortable showering experience each and every time.
Our shower trays are built with durability and performance in mind, with each one tested to support up to 4000kg, whether used with or without our own supplied riser leg kits. A typical 1200 x 800mm tray weighs just 18kg, making it significantly lighter than many stone resin options.
In terms of standards and sustainability, our trays are fully compliant with all UK and EU requirements, including CE, EN 14527, EN 198, and REACH regulations. While WRAS certification isn’t required for trays, our acrylic sheet is manufactured to EN 263 for domestic use. Unlike some alternatives, we don’t use chipboard or other wood-based reinforcement materials – instead, we use Flax Particle Board, a more environmentally friendly alternative that offers strength without compromising on sustainability.
Please note, while it is possible to cut an acrylic capped tray, a cut edge can potentially be exposed to water ingress.

The included Hi-Flow Waste enables water to flow from the shower tray at a rate of 32 litres per minute.

Can the waste be swapped out for another product - for example swapping the silver waste for a brass one (rather than order a separate waste and be left with two)
The tray is supplied with a chrome waste as standard which cannot be swapped.

Had an issue with the waste being a 45* as i’d already cut out the drainage so beware of that but otherwise all good.

I ordered this as a direct replacement. My original shower tray cracked and upon removal, I realised that the builders hadnt supported it correctly. I built a frame and lined it with 18mm ply. The shower tray is now solid.
The delivery and price were brilliant as was the communication.
Ill use plumbworld for all my needs from now on.
