Hydrolux Square Folding Bath Shower Screen 1200mm Matt Black - Five Panels, 4mm

We ordered this after looking at a number of similar items. On receipt I noticed that two small plastic lugs (part of the folding system) were broken. I contacted customer services and after explaining the problem and sending some photos (unasked for), I was immediately offered a new unit sent via next day delivery. This new unit survuved the journey and is in place doing exactly 'as it says on the tin' Delighted with the product and with the after sales service. Thank You

The shower screen was easy to install, works very well and was reasonable in cost and included free shipping to Northern Ireland. Will most certainly use Plumbworld again.

Had a small issue with a part not in the pack. But contacted the customer service who didn't have the part in stock but sent me a whole new screen. It's worth every penny and so much easier with it folding specifically because my last one was terrible would always bang against my sink. If you have a bath/shower definitely think of getting one of the bifold screens you won't regret it.

Very happy with this shower screen. Fitted easily and doesn't leak at all. Folds away small so it doesn't take up space in a small bathroom but it easy to pull out when needed. Good design.

Great value, quick delivery, easy to install and looks great

A great product for the price. Up close you can see that the hinges are plastic, but just looking at it normally it looks really smart. A bit fiddly to fit and understand the instructions. I'll discuss the seal strip and edge bar. I was definitely a two person job, or a least one person and a helper to hold it in place as you screw it on! I bought this shower screen as the one in my house was too short and shower water kept splashing on the floor. This screen is a nice length and folds away nice and compact. As far as fitting goes it was a little hit and miss. The instructions are vague to say the least, but it's pretty straight forward to work out how to fit it. There were two issues I came across: 1. the rubber seal at the bottom of the screen slides in nice and easy, but when I cut it to size (when the screen is stretched out) it's fine, but when I fold the screen the seal extends out the end. I found the little end cap pieces, but they just pop out, they do not hold in place properly. I've left it as is for the time being and I'll see how it goes. 2. the kit comes with a strip that I think you silicon seal to the edge of the bath. Plumbworld have no images with this strip on the bath (plus a search of the internet for similar screens) and as the instruction are vague it's hard to tell which way up to fit it. I noticed that someone had asked the question about if it needed fitting and Plumbworld had not really responded, just saying that the strip at the bottom should stop water. I have not fitted mine to my bath and the seal at the bottom of the screen does seem to be working okay. All I would say is that this strip is obviously meant to help the screen sit straight along the side of your bath and without it you have to be careful to sit the screen straight. Finally I worry about the weight of the product just hanging from that one bar on my wall. I wish I'd used some stronger raw plugs than the ones that came with it. When I fold the screen I try to keep it sitting on the edge of the bath so that last screen isn't folded. If I had space I would rest it on the end of the bath near the taps, but my taps fill too much space. I only fitted it a week ago, but at the moment it is working fine and looks good. For the price of just over 100 for the 1200mm it's a really good product. Especially compared to the price of others out there.

I bought this product and a small part of the shower fell off and I could find a replacement. Plumbworld sorted me out a replacement no problem at all, brilliant customer service.

Easy ordering, quick delivery and definitely great value to money, well made, solid and love the chrome finish. There was a slight dent in one of end panels that slides into the framework but although we know its there no-one else will spot it.
