Rangemaster Glendale Inset 1.5 Bowl Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink with Waste - GL9502/

As this was a replacement for our existing sink it was difficult to get a sink less than 1000mm length. The Rangemaster Glendale sink was 950mm long which only required a little enlargement of the cut out in the worktop. The sink was well packaged and delivery was efficient and prompt. Fitting the sink was straightforward with assembling the tap before fitting the unit into the worktop and adding to our kitchen. It is a pity that there is not a drain basket available for the half sink as an extra for the sink unit. Overall it remains a good quality unit.

Bought unseen online during lockdown as a replacement for a 950 mm cutout sink, less common size than more standard 1000 mm units. The advice offered by online chat before purchase was helpful and delivery time, next day, excellent. The unit arrived on time and well packaged, carefully handled by courier DHL and undamaged. This sink exceeded my expectations on unpacking, good quality Stainless Steel with a lengthwise brushed texture to front and rear sections, the rest in an attractive semi polished finish. Looks far more expensive than it actually was! All holes are cut accurately and cleanly, perimeter sealing gasket already affixed. Fitting difficulties were encountered as it was being mounted in an existing worktop, the clips being difficult to secure at the rear left side. Having long reach (450mm) cross head screwdrivers to hand made this easier. In my case I assembled the tap to the sink first then did a practice manoeuvre of the sink to worktop to check plumbing reach etc. Attention should be paid to the instructions regarding tightening order of securing clips to avoid distorting the steel. It’s been in place for several weeks now and looks fantastic with a chrome pillar tap. My only complaints would be the thickness of the steel is maybe less than ideal, as with a pillar tap there is some movement even with reinforcement plate fitted, and the welding around the half sink looks slightly out of place but I’m the only one to notice and I’m fussy! All in all a great purchase and good value from Plumbworld, never used before but can now recommend!

I converted to a 1.5 bowl while having new tops put in. This is a clean fresh modern look. Easy to fit. There was a slight problem with the seal on the main bowl which meant it has a slight shift to the left to maintain water tightness. For the price this Rangemaster is very good. One issue I have to live with by choosing a cheaper model is the unused tap hole on the reverse side. The Sink has a nice brushed steel effect around the rim but the insert to cover the Unused hole does not have this effect, so it looks out of place. I would recommend buying a more expensive one that does not have this whole. I do like the drainage fittings with the swirling effect. The Sink empties very quickly. This sink is easy to clean with a damp cloth and a piece of kitchen towel.

Bought this for my new kitchen and love it. The border of the sink has a really nice heavily brushed finish to it. The bowls have a smooth soft sheen finish and the drainer is highly polished. You can’t see all that in the picture online but it’s a really beautiful sink. It’s quite sturdy and I’m really pleased with my purchase. It came really well packaged, included the waste kit. Plumbworld service and delivery was excellent.

Extremely pleased with this sink. Finished with a brushed detailed surround, this very stylish sink is amazing value, having the look and quality feel of a much more expensive product. Also, installed with ease. Only downside is a personal preference for a slightly larger draining area as not a dishwasher user. Easily and inexpensive rectified though with a stainless steel draining rack.

This sink looks really nice I didn’t realise it had a different finish round the edges and at first I wasn’t too keen .. now it’s fitted with my fancy new tap it looks very designer .. very pleased with this product

Had to buy this sink as depth of bowl was essential for drawers under sink,they would only allow a shallow bowl. Very happy with delivery and a great looking sink which was more modern looking than photo's
